About Lewisville UMC Preschool

Our Preschool provides a program of learning activities for children ages 12 months to five years old and follows weekly themes and study units. The program operates on a half day basis, from 9:00am-12:00pm.

 

It is our belief that the family is the primary caregiver of the child, and that our preschool is to be in a partnership that provides optimal development of the individual child.

​

Our philosophy is based on the recognition that early childhood experiences should occur in an environment of love and support.  As a ministry of Lewisville United Methodist Church, our preschool provides a loving and compassionate environment for all children and their families that focuses on development of the whole child. 

​

Families of all faith background or no faith background are welcome in our program. As a ministry of Lewisville United Methodist Church, children do participate in twice monthly Chapel services in the Sanctuary facilitated by Rev. Kara Chamberlin and Rev. Paul Brown. These Chapel services focus on basic stories and principles of the Bible and include time of song and prayer.
